About us:

"Paintball enthusiasts" is a pretty good description of us.

After the first paintball experiences in the local forest, we eventually turned our hobby into a profession and now 20 years later we run a large paintball field and the Weekend Warrior Shop.

Kai Gerdes is actually running the whole thing because he had the idea and the courage to pull it off at the time. And here we are with the boss. This courage has not left him even today, which is why he still provides a breath of fresh air in the company.

Together with Henner, he successfully practiced paintball as a tournament sport for many years. He's now back to Scenario Paintball. Together with the boys he makes numerous MagFed events in Germany and Europe unsafe. Most of the time he can be recognized by the fact that he wildly throws flash bangs around and unerringly distributes his first strikes on opposing masks. His equipment is a Planet Eclipse EMF100 and a Planet Eclipse LVR, with which he distributes his paintballs on the SupAir field.

Then there's Stefan, who's been there from the start. Stefan got the first equipment from us back then and is therefore partly responsible for the fact that you are reading this text now. He is the good soul of the shop and takes care of everything when there is a fire somewhere. He also works a lot in the administrative area and the online shop. Together with Clarissa he takes care of the staff. He's popular with all employees because he likes to bring buns in the morning.

You may know him from our YouTube channel, where he often makes your life easier with short "Tips & Tricks Videos".

He travels to numerous MagFed events in Germany and Europe with his First Strike T15 and his EMF100. Here he often takes over the post of general and shoos the players to the front with a loud voice. Besides paintball, he likes to gamble in virtual worlds like Azeroth & Co.

Henner's paintball career began with Kai and Stefan in the parental forest. At that time still with a Spyder E99, numerous tournament markers quickly moved in with him. As a dedicated paintball gear nerd, he has owned numerous paintball markers and accessories over the years. He played with OnFire in the DPL 2.Bundesliga and together with Kai with the Russian Kidz in the PSL Pro. At some point he treated himself to a T15 and since then he's been busy shooting at MagFed. Most of the time you can find him in the front row, just like back then at the paintball tournament. When he's not making YouTube videos with Franzi, he takes care of purchasing goods and negotiating with the suppliers. He takes over parts of the marketing and beautifies our playing field together with Carsten. Together, the two build new shelters, game modes or expand the field design of World of Paintball. Henner takes care of the monthly events like MagFed Sunday and the Sundays Club. But what he enjoys most is helping customers on site or over the phone when they need new gear.

Carsten is the second half of the engineering team together with Henner. He is mostly active behind the scenes and mainly worries about the technology. He tinkers with exciting game mode controls, takes care of the network or the sound infrastructure, for example, and repairs things.

But it is also a real all-rounder when it comes to craftsmanship. Therefore, he touches up the markers before they are sent out to the customer. He plays paintball with a First Strike T15 and a Planet Eclipse GTEK 160R

Clarissa is a sunshine and always in a good mood. She does the incoming goods for us and shoots photos for the online shop together with Franzi. In addition, she takes care of our guests and coordinates the temporary staff.Often she is also the one who puts a smile on your face with her Insta Story Clarissa plays a First Strike T15, which she lovingly calls Sydney and with which she distributes First Strikes properly on the SBG & Co.

Anne Christin takes care of the bookkeeping and the annual tickets for us and therefore nothing would work here without her. She is very goal-oriented and supports us in important decisions with words and deeds. Although Anne Christin rarely plays paintball, she is very active in equestrian sports. And anyone who has experienced a show jumping tournament live will recognize that it is at least as hardcore an adrenaline rush as paintball. That's why she always gives out properly when she can be seen on the paintball field.

Last but not least, we have to mention our numerous temporary workers, some of whom have accompanied and supported us for many years. Without their help, here would often be “land below”, as we say in the north.

Best regards

the Weekend Warrior
