Helmets & Holsters
Paintball helmet/holster
Masks and markers are no longer everything. Especially when it comes to equipment and protective gear, real weekend warriors can now draw on plenty. Whether you're looking for a paintball helmet for the perfect woodland gameplay or you want to get a new holster for your sidearm - you've come to the right place at the Weekend Warrior Shop.
When will we have a paintball helmet?
Helmets are rarely found in classic paintball. The only requirement here is the best possible full-face mask, which protects you from painful hits and injuries to the eyes. The main area of application for a paintball helmet like the helmet replica with quick adjustment from our shop is in the area of woodland and scenario gameplay.
The paintball helmet, equipped with a wide variety of rails and locks for attaching lamps and the like, completes the realistic gear in special ops style. By the way, a paintball helmet not only offers you additional protection against incoming balls, but also against impacts when you are out and about in the terrain or indoors.
What makes a good paintball helmet?
First and foremost, a good paintball helmet has to fit. Adjustable straps and fasteners allow for an optimal adjustment to your head, so that the helmet neither pinches nor gets lost in the heat of the moment. The inner shell should also be properly padded so that you don't immediately feel every hit.
In addition, a paintball helmet for players must be compatible with the mask you are using. With airsoft, on the other hand, you have significantly more freedom when it comes to choosing a helmet, since you only wear goggles here. Apart from that, the choice of helmet in terms of appearance and additional functions is entirely up to you. Velcro surfaces for cheeky patches on the paintball helmet are a real highlight on every field.
When are paintball holsters used?
A paintball holster is always a good idea on the paintball field when playing with a handgun. After all, you can't just let them dangle from a sling when you're not using them. Of course, this is especially true if you have a long gun as the main marker and a short gun as a backup marker.
The marker is always safely stowed in the paintball holster and yet ready to hand. And that is the decisive advantage, because especially in the Woodland and Magfed gameplay, pulling the backup marker out of the paintball holster is usually much faster than reloading. However, holsters can also be used in classic paintball if appropriate markers are played.
What makes a good paintball holster?
The properties that make a good paintball holster can be summed up in two words: Secure hold. This primarily applies to locking the marker in the paintball holster. Hard plastic holsters such as the Umarex holster for HDR 50 revolvers or the Walther PPQ M2 paddle holster are tailored to special pistol models.
This snaps them firmly into the paintball holster and can be easily released again by pressing a safety catch. An alternative are universal holsters like the Universal Leg Holster Modular. You can adapt this paintball holster to your marker using loops and Velcro fasteners, for example. And in order for the holster to hold your gear optimally, a good holster needs a high-quality attachment.
This is often ensured by special attachment clips for the belt, such as the Cytac Lowrider Belt Loop R-Defender Thumbsmart or Molle adapter for attachment to vests and the like. Whether you are looking for a classic belt holster, a leg holster or a solution for the attaching it in front of the chest on your vest is a matter of taste.
