With its ability to adapt to different paint sizes and qualities without the need for a fully loaded barrel back bag, the Freak® system set the world standard for Portability, performance and flexibility. In its latest generation, the Freak® XL running system is even better, offering improved efficiency and consistency. Now, the Freak® ACP™ barrel faces take on harsh weather, mud, and even paint fill.

The Freak® ACP™ barrels combine the performance of the Freak® XL system with an all-new barrel face built for the worst field conditions is designed. On the outside, four rows of barrel opening help equalize the air pressure inside the barrel with the outside air for a smooth and quiet transition from acceleration to free flight. Inside, the Freak® ACP™ looks brand new. Sixteen rows of smoothly transitioning grooves and rails give the Freak® XL the benefits of a straight barrel.

Instead of spinning the paintball in a spiral pattern, the ACP™ barrel offers the same linear path as a traditional smooth barrel and is at the same time better equipped to deal with the barrel contamination that occurs in inclement weather. Once the paintball leaves the Freak® back, it literally rides on rails the length of the barrel face. Dust, mud, paint fill or rain can literally be blown out of the way into the grooves of the ACP™ barrel rather than getting caught between the ball and barrel wall where, in the worst case, they can lead to barrel bursting.
